After investigation, we found that many diesel generators neglected the maintenance of oil pump in the use process. In fact, oil pump is an important part of the generator. In order to ensure the long-term durability of the generator, users should pay attention to the following issues.
1. Before installing the oil pump, the generator set should check whether the model and specification are correct and remove the rust-proof oil. The thickness of the gasket should be suitable. In order to avoid the piston being jacked or running out of place, the gasket should be prevented from being too thin or too thick, and the tightening moment should be uniform when tightening the bolt to prevent damage to the oil pump.
2. There are rubber sealing devices between piston of hand oil pump and body of hand oil pump on oil pump. Do not dismantle them at will. If rubber ring is damaged, it should be replaced in time.
3. Coarse filter mesh core in connection of oil pump is easily blocked by dirt such as cotton floss. To check and clean frequently, the damage of filter mesh must be repaired or replaced in time.
4. Ensure that the sealing gaskets are intact and intact everywhere in the oil pump of the generating unit. The number of disassemblies and assemblies of the plastic rings should not be too many, and should be replaced regularly.
5. Ensure that the "four spring" elasticity of the plunger pump is normal. Four springs are piston springs, tappet (roller) springs, oil inlet valve springs and oil outlet valve springs. If the spring elasticity is weakened or broken, it should be replaced or adjusted in time to avoid damage to the generator set.
6. The hand oil pump of the generating unit must be pressed back after use, and the button should be tightened to prevent the air intake or oil leakage of the hand oil pump and rubber ring or ball valve and valve seat due to the pressure is not tight.
7. When the generator unit is in the state of shutdown for a long time, anti-rust measures must be taken to prevent the mating surfaces of the oil pump, especially between the piston and the pump body, the tappet and the tappet sleeve from rusting due to the water in the oil. That is to say, when the generator unit shuts down, the lubricating oil with water, diesel oil and other impurities in the oil chassis of the oil injection pump should be replaced.
8. The oils of the injected generating units should be filtered through precipitation to ensure cleanliness and prevent the wear and tear of the inlet valve, outlet valve and seat of the oil pump from being aggravated by excessive impurities. Sometimes the oil valves may even be padded up by impurities and become invalid.
